Conference Venue

The conference will be held in the newly renovated and opened celebration halls of Port Said University, its Asian campus, on the eastern bank of Suez Canal in the Port Fouad district. This district has a French-oriental charm. Participants will arrive either by ferry crossing the Suez Canal or via a newly constructed floating bridge that facilitates crossing between the two banks of Suez Canal, thus connecting the continents of Asia and Africa. The site is distinguished by its beautiful architecture and its Mediterranean breeze, set amidst a beautiful garden.

The city is just 2 hours away from Cairo Airport.

Direct travel to the city using an online pre-reserved Taxi or even after finishing the customs procedures through international offices available in the Airport for about .

Transport through the city is available through public Taxis for about 30 EP.

Special cruises to nearby cities for instance Cairo, Alexandria and even coastal cities on the Red Sea is available through private transport companies. Participants who are interested in visiting south Egypt to enjoy the ancient Egyptian Heritage and the Nile cruise between Luxor and Aswan can move easily through domestic airlines from Cairo Airport.

Accommodation

Port Said is a beautiful Mediterranean city, often visited by tourists especially during the season starting in the second half of June. The hotel base is very extensive, although in high season the number of available places will be (highly) limited. We recommend booking hotel places in advance.
